Did you know that most A.A. books and pamphlets are available on the Internet? Some are free of charge, and others are available for less than the printed books. What’s more, they are never out of stock!
For some AA members, paper books are a must. However, for others, ebooks may be the only way they can access our literature. With the right ebook readers, ebooks can be particularly suitable for those who wish to :
Bring all their A.A. books with them when they leave the house;
Look up words in the dictionary as they are reading;
Search for specific quotes in the text using key words;
Listen to the book, which may be available as an audio book, or can be read using text-to-speech functions (reading difficulties; visual impairments);
Enlarge the text, or change the text or background color (visual impairments);
Read books when they can no longer hold or physically handle them (physical impairments);
CUPW has launched a nationwide overtime ban for their employees on Friday, May 23.
